Welcome to the website of the Tilburg R Team! Below you can find a brief description of what we’re all about (spoiler: R), as well as some information about the upcoming presentation.
The Tilburg R Team connects staff and students at Tilburg University who work with R or would like to do so in the (very) near future. Given its wide variety of functions and possibilities to connect with other software/languages, we strive to learn from each other by sharing our experiences – think of new packages or functions, efficient programming, or creating fancy plots.
The group is open to all people interested in learning more about R. Also those who are still learning R or are unsure if it’s worth the trouble (and want to be inspired) are very much welcome.
We NORMALLY meet every first Thursday of the month, with alternating presenters followed by an informal discussion. We would like to keep the setting of our meetings a bit ‘informal’ and hope that you will stick around afterwards to have a beer with us (:
The next meeting will be on October 25th, at 16:30, in the Esplanade. Shuai Yuan will talk the Rcpp package, which is really cool and really nerdy.
Any suggestions (interesting topics and/or speakers)? Let us know!
Are you interested and want to be informed about future meetings?
